Originally from South Korea, I am a London-based designer with a multi-disciplinary artistic background. I started my practice with furniture design and later explored conceptual art practices to broaden my perspectives and address various issues in the human world. After moving to London for my master's degree in Design Products, my interest gradually moved from traditional industrial design to critical and speculative design, thinking, "By designing products, we may not solve problems. However, by changing human ideas, we can solve problems.
My works always aim to raise more questions and develop different perspectives about an issue than merely provide solutions.
I believe design has more power and voice beyond its form and functionality.
